well, hello there.
I'm Emily.
I live in a small town in northwestern Pennsylvania with my two kids, a snake, and a lizard.

I have always enjoyed making things and expressing myself through artwork- this passion eventually led me to a job as an elementary school teacher at an small private school dedicated to infusing the arts into academics. For the last seven years, I've had the privilege of working with students in grades K-8 as a teaching artist.

Outside of school, I dabble in a variety of artistic pursuits, ranging from digital illustration to cut paper collage to set design for local theatre productions, but my absolute favorite is making Halloween costumes.
